An engagement gift for Arbuthnot, otherwise known as Davey Hopper. A wonderfully funny and talented actor and former colleague of mine. As always, nailing the starring role as the hapless buffoon in the Customs House Theatre’s Annual Christmas Pantomime, the final show of 2022/23’s production of Robin Hood was no exception… Until the end of the show was nearing and Mr. Hopper left the audience, cast and crew jaws to the floor when he proposed to his girlfriend on stage. Of course, she said yes!
