POD HOSTEL

Seven murals in seven days… Challenge accepted! The reception and dormitory walls at The Pod Hostel ~ Cat Ba Island, Vietnam were in need of a dash of panache, something for the weary backpackers to admire while they rest their heads. Being a busy hostel, working time and access to the rooms was an issue, so we compromised by choosing these bold, simplified pictures accompanied by inspirational travel related quotes from Henry Miller, Ibn Battuta, John A. Shedd, Lao Tzu, J.R.R Tolkien and Lavelle Drachmann.

This project required dynamic planning combined with focus and discipline, but I am proud to declare that I was successful in my mission.
